TABLE OF CONTENTS

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “your”) and PC Launchpad LLC (“PC Launchpad,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the PC Launchpad website at https://www.pclaunchpad.com, related applications, and any products or services we offer (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

We may offer additional terms for specific features (for example, custom PC build services or checkout flows). Those additional terms become part of your agreement with us if you use the relevant feature.

PC Launchpad is a general-audience tool for researching and planning PC builds. We do not target children, and the Services are not directed to children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13, you may not use the Services.

If you are at least 13 but under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), you may use the Services with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these age requirements and that any information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. OUR SERVICES

PC Launchpad provides tools to research, compare, and plan custom PC builds, including component catalogs, compatibility guidance, build configuration, and related educational content. We may also offer paid services such as custom PC assembly and related fulfillment, subject to separate ordering terms presented at checkout.

No professional advice. Information on the Services-including compatibility suggestions, performance estimates, pricing, and recommendations-is provided for general informational purposes only. You are responsible for verifying specifications, compatibility, and suitability before purchasing or installing any hardware.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice.

3. USER ACCOUNTS

You may need an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at contact@pclaunchpad.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may register using email and password or, where offered, third-party sign-in (such as Google). Use of third-party sign-in is also subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk.

4. PURCHASES AND PAYMENTS

If you purchase products or services through the Services:

  • Age for purchases. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to enter into a binding purchase through the Services, unless a parent or legal guardian completes the transaction on your behalf and accepts these Terms.

  • Pricing and availability are subject to change. We strive to display accurate information but do not guarantee that descriptions, prices, or availability are error-free.

  • Payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe). You agree to provide current, complete payment information and authorize charges for orders you place.

  • Orders are subject to acceptance. We may refuse or cancel orders (for example, due to pricing errors, suspected fraud, or supply limitations).

  • Build and fulfillment services may involve third-party parts sourcing, assembly timelines, shipping, and policies disclosed during checkout (including any parts sourcing or service-level terms). Those disclosures are incorporated into your order.

  • Refunds and cancellations are handled according to the policies stated at checkout or communicated to you for your specific order. Contact us with order questions at contact@pclaunchpad.com.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Services, including software, text, graphics, logos, layouts, and other content (excluding user-provided content), are owned by PC Launchpad or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Services or our content except as expressly permitted by law or with our prior written consent.

User content. If you submit content (such as build configurations, comments, or feedback), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Services. You represent that you have the rights to submit such content.

6. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, accounts, or systems

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services (including by scraping, automated access, or excessive load)

  • Upload malware or harmful code

  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

  • Harvest or collect information about other users without consent

  • Circumvent security or access controls

  • Use the Services to send spam or unsolicited communications

We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement as appropriate.

7. DISCLAIMERS

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR THAT COMPATIBILITY OR PERFORMANCE INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. YOU USE THE SERVICES AND ANY BUILD PLANS OR RECOMMENDATIONS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PC LAUNCHPAD AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SPECIFIC ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PC Launchpad and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party rights, or any content you submit.

10. TERM AND TERMINATION

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Services. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive termination.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which PC Launchpad LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising out of these Terms or the Services will be in the state and federal courts located in that State, and you waive any objection to venue in those courts.

If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that requires a different governing law or forum, nothing in this section limits mandatory rights you may have under applicable law.

12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when they were last revised. Material changes may be communicated by posting a notice on the Services or by other reasonable means.

Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
